Seven Days
Another busy blesséd week - when is it ever anything else? So good to be out and about in these transitional days - and what colour there is to be found.
:: Purple crocuses cheering up the roadside verges.
:: New red shoes ♥
:: Colourful artworks on display here.
:: Neon lichen on the rocks.
:: Kitschy, fun charity shop finds
:: Seaweed on the shore
:: Jewel bright fibres at the Woolcraft and Spinning group show.
I love to look back over the week that was - enjoying and appreciating those joyful moments anew. Wishing you many colourful blessings in this coming Seven Days. xxx

ReplyDeleteHehe, I have had a few pairs of red shoes (despite some people saying it used to be the sign of a street walker *rolls eyes*). I am wearing purple right now, aside from boots, but I think it will be red next haha.

All beautiful photos - and I'm having shoe envy here, too! I'm also jealous that you get to go to An Lanntair as often as you do. It's such a good place.

ReplyDeleteAhem. Got a little too excited. Obviously I meant *red with a /d/.
DeleteLol - yes there is something a bit magical about red shoes! Suddenly I am skipping everywhere. And swinging my legs when I sit! xx
ReplyDeleteRobyn - it took me a while to workout what you meant - duh! Of course, poor Twiggy, I never knew her - but I heard sad news today that the magnificent ram on my banner, from the croft next door has died! It has been a bad winter for the stock.
xx
Oh, those fabulous red shoes! I am savouring these transitional days as the new seed orders arrive, some knitting occurs, and maple sap become syrup.
ReplyDeleteAnd not one Wizard of Oz comment about the red shoes? Or is that just an American thing? I do think red shoes gives one "happy feet." I am taken with the fiber piece in the last photo, gorgeous piece.
ReplyDeleteOh what lovely colours, your blog lifts the spirits and inspires me to do more, also thanks for your kind words about my son Archie's Rugby blog. If you can pursuade anyone to follow it he would be thrilled.
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon - it was a pleasure. Archie's blog is great- and written in two languages as well! I know Kenneth has read it and enjoyed it. I will add it to my blog list - so good to encourage young folk in their creativity. Hope you are doing well xxx
ReplyDeleteYour shoes are reminding me of the Paulo Nutini song! Beautiful colours in your week Jacqui xx
