Seven days past
Silver frosty mornings, with the sun burning through the dawn mists
Sprouting kale spears from last year's plants
Sowing the seeds of this year's hoped for harvest - it will be the best yet!
Suddenly noticing the beauty in this old rusty gate post
Sipping coffee and eating pie in my local cafe
Stepping out at a wedding dance with friends and neighbours
Sensing Spring in the air
Sending love and blessings to you all, as we turn our faces to the next Seven Days
thats beautiful, seven days, lovely,

ReplyDeleteJust lovely. And I really want that cake! Husband is healing, lots of physio happening. Still so cold and wet here, but soon the warmth will soak into our bones. :) Lois
ReplyDeleteYour view is astounding! What an incredible spot to take your tea. And you have things growing already! And the lambs, oh how darling.
ReplyDeleteThanks WSW :) that kale was from last year's sowing. If you leave it in the ground, it puts up broccoli like spears - a delicious Spring treat and some seeds to save too!
DeleteA wonderful series of photos!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a beautiful day!

Loving your photos here in the Pacific Northwest USA...lovely.
ReplyDeleteI've been envying your sunny weather every time I see the BBC weather forecast - but I guess the downside is that it's been very dry. Surprising to see the frost - I thought you'd had warmer temperatures. Suddenly it's Spring here today - warm, wet, windy. Wishing you a good growing season.
ReplyDeleteAh to have some fresh kale in the garden. We eat a lot of it, each day, and I can't wait to get some more plants in the ground. Love, V
