That photo shows total summer joy. Thank you for reminding me of some of my own long ago childhood summers. Barefoot. Perhaps playing canasta, or dressing our dolls with my friends on someone's screened porch, and playing with our dog. Oh...also staying outdoors after supper, seeing the fireflies and the stars and moon come out. (Mosquitoes, too, but that's another memory category.)
