We took her home yesterday. Oh, she was so happy to see her parents - and rushed around her house, exclaiming in delight and amazement "I found my chair - I found my bed -and look- I found my red truck!" She is just the sweetest girl.

What a joy your company must have been...whirlwind and all! :) Love young ones' enthusiasm at "coming home" to their own things...
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lisa...what a joy, whirlwind and all. I'm expecting my grandchildren for our Thanksgiving Holiday that is coming up soon. They are older, but it is still a whirlwind time. I'm planning one "game night", a trip to a Christmas Tree Farm, and several other events. It's not easy keeping up with their energy. Thanks for including me in your blog roll.
ReplyDeletewhat a treat!!! she is beautiful and I bet you are counting the days when you get her again :)
ReplyDeleteThere's no whirlwind like a two and a half year old whirlwind! Except maybe two two and a half year old whirlwinds (oh the memories.)
