This moment...

{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savour and remember.

I am happy to be joining in again with Soulemama this week.  Have a productive weekend. xxx

  1. You have indeed shared a very special moment. Our little ones love to mimic us, don't they? And sometimes, when you spot them wholeheartedly doing just that, it can be extremely heart warming. áƒĤAleta

Oh that is brilliant. Both my children have enjoyed knitting (although not at the moment - but who knows what the future will bring?).

Wonderful. This pic reminded me of seeing my older brother knitting when he was about 8 years old. I sometimes pull his leg that he still hasn't made me an egg cosy yet, as promised. :)

  4. When Ethan started to learn to knit, he was in awe of about who had taught who to knit, eg my Nan teaching my Mum, my Mum teaching me, me teaching him. And he was so so proud that he would one day teach his own children, but as a Dad, not like the rest of us who had been taught by their mother. Really heart warming to see little boys learning to knit. Wishing you all a productive week ahead too. xx

  7. Oh, I absolutely love this! My six year old also has needles in hand. But not in this photo that I've linked. I don't know who was more excited, the rider or me:)

  15. Thanks everyone. I need to say that this moment didn't last very long - lol. But he did try and he seems keen. I think it will be a year or so before he gets it. I'll leave his needles and yarn lying around so he can pick it up whenever.

  21. Greetings from Canada! It has taken me just over a week to read your blog starting right from the beginning! I cannot express how much I enjoyed reading of your experiences in life! It brings me back to when we visited Scotland, the birthplace of my grandfather (Dingwall). Makes my heart yearn for that gorgeous country all over again! Be well and I look forward to reading on!

    Best,
    Dianna

Emily - he has a long way to go before he is near Chase's standard.
Mrs DM - Hello and welcome - thank you for your lovely comment, and your times. Dingwall is not to far away, if you take out the 3 hour sea journey - a lovely place. Duncan was my mother's maiden name!
    xx
