Taking a moment - to share a moment - a moment I want to pause, savour and remember. Happy to be joining in, once again with the wonderful Soulemama. Wishing you a weekend full of joy and friendship.
Hi Pamela. The purple is a special spray dye that we use to identify our sheep. Most of the shepherding tasks here are carried out communally - shearing, dipping etc, and during the summer, all the sheep in the village are up on the common grazings on the moor. We need to know which sheep belong to each crofter, so we all have our own individual marks and colours. Ours is a purple strip across the back. xx
Many thanks for visiting me. I love to read your thoughts and appreciate each one. I will respond to comments and queries here, so please check back xx
