Summer Postcard

Hectic Summer days here. Had a wonderful week with my step-daughter and her family. Those boys just loved being on the beach so much they stayed an extra two days!
Now we are ready for our next set of visitors - daughter Karen and her family are on their way to us as I write. Looking forward to two weeks of fun, laughter and - well - more beaches!
Will write more soon.

  2. Oh Jacqui! This photo is just perfection to me, far from a beach and the ones within reach don't have flowers or rocks or pools, which are all part of my idea of a beach.

I will be visiting this photo whenever I need a breath of fresh air and water, knowing you and your family are nearby enjoying each others company in such surroundings.

    Summer joy to you,

    Lesley

  5. Looks lovely Jacqui, Here in Tasmania its the mid winter school holidays and we have been watching the whales come into our little bay to give birth as they journey north from Antarctic waters. Also there have been dolphins and seals so my grand daughters had their fair share of nature. Not only that, it snowed and they had their first experiences playing in the cold, white stuff. It was a delight watching their faces as they explored the environment. I love living here, just as you do, there, I suspect.
