A beautiful weekend when we welcomed the first of our family parties to the croft. My step-daughter, son in law and their two boys. They had never visited the island before, as they live in Switzerland . Coming from a land-locked country, it soon became obvious that they were suffering from serious beach deficiency. Well, we certainly have the cure for that! This summer weekend has been full of special moments:
- Beaches every day
- Rainbows
- Getting to know new friends
- The benefits of having a keen fisherman in the house
- A baby being adored
- Smoking fresh langoustines on the beach
- Exploring
- Playing
- and little sandy feet.
A few more beach days ahead of us, as the holiday continues - hope your weekend was blessed with love, joy and sunshine. xxx
Those tiny, sandy feet ... perfect :)
ReplyDeleteI only managed two pics for my weekending post, you put me to shame!
Oh no - it was just a different kind of weekend :) xx
DeleteGorgeous xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks Dawn :) xx
DeleteOh my dear friend, I love seeing those wee little sandy feet, they are just adorable.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you were able to help those poor family members of yours and fill them up with some beach loving, it's so important to ones health. ;)Truthfully I am not sure how one can go through life without the sound of the sea filling the air, that seems so sad.
It looks like you are really enjoying the summer!
Hi Tracey, it was a difficult job, but I think we sorted it - lol xx
DeleteBeach, family and food make for a good combination, looks like you had a great weekend together.
ReplyDeleteWe had a great time and they stayed on for an extra day!
DeleteFantastic photographs!
ReplyDeleteSummer looks much cooler than what we experience here... it looks a little more like our autumn.
Happy summer to you.. I'm sitting here feeling the cold of winter.
