Seven Days

A dawn trip to the ferry terminal to wave goodbye to lovely Sara, (daughter of this dear lady), who had come to stay with us for a week to help out.

Some vintage reading material.

Simnel cake at a lovely cafe in town.

A brightly coloured ship in the harbour.

A little Easter crafting

And a Hot Cross baked cheesecake (recipe can be found here)

Easter morning breakfast (shhh!)

And checking on the ewes.

Lovely week just past, looking forward to the next seven days.  The ferry will bring family over for a visit, hopefully some lambs will appear, and I dare say more cake will be served. Have a blessed and joyful week ahead. xxx

  1. You know Jacqui, cheesecake is my all time favorite cake. I'll share a secret with you...I
have been known to sit down and eat a whole one all by myself! [Oh, dear, maybe I shouldn't have told.]
I am sitting here waiting on Mike to come in from some work too. There is always so much to do and right now I am just so very bone tired.
Enjoy the family visit and I am looking forward to seeing the new lambs.
I wish you a lovely week too Jacqui... you, James and John.
    xx

Exquisite photos as usual, Jacqui. The first one took my breath away. And the "hatted" eggs made me giggle. Love cheesecake, don't think I've ever had one with raisins (or sultanas) -- sounds delish.
