More Birthdays

Another missed birthday.  Louise - Kenneth's girlfriend, is 20 today -  Happy Birthday!!

We have always lived near each other, unknowingly, and Louise and Kenneth were in the same nursery class at the age of 3, but don't really remember each other. They started going out with each other in their final year of High School, and now both are heading into their 3rd year at different Universities in Edinburgh. Louise is studying Psychology and Sociology and Kenneth is doing Chemistry. She is a lovely, lovely girl.

And so, with all these birthdays going on so far away, James felt as if he was missing out.  He suddenly announced yesterday that it was Shark's birthday at 2 o'clock!  As it was well after 1 by this time, there was no time to make a cake, so we improvised with  party ring biscuits.  Shark looks pretty happy with the result I reckon.

In fact it was really quite a jolly party. Every time the candle was blown out, a biscuit was eaten. It was amazing how quickly those biscuits disappeared - they are certainly very more-ish.
And so, guess how old Shark was yesterday?  Sixty-seven! Who knew? I really must find out his secret...

I will be hosting a little giveaway on the next post to celebrate my three-hundredth post, so please remember to look out for that. xx

  11. Please explain what the button thingy is. I've seen it before (I think on Trish's blog) but it just looks like the at sign. What is it and what is it supposed to do?

  13. Thanks Emily,Kate and Angie - it is sweet how their birthdays are close together.
Meggs. I thought this reply button thing would allow me to reply to everyone under their individual comments, as in Typepad or Wordpress, instead of doing these huge group replies, and it would be nicer. However, after sitting for far too long last night, adding this code - i managed to get the buttons to work, only to find that it only added an @ sign. Well i could do that myself, so it adds nothing. It has gone now, maybe Blogger will finally get round to adding this function, but until then, I am afraid I will be posting my very long reply comments. xxx
