Paul named a kitten Elvis once...and that cat could not go through the cat door without us hearing "elvis has left the building!"...still, not as bad as him singing as Elvis: suspicious mice! we're caught in a trap...or Her fur is soft, and her eyes...
Cute! I love that. Our angora rabbit came to us with the name Bianca, but the boys were having none of it. They renamed her "Hunka", as in "Hunka hunka bunny love..." :)
That is funny! We have rooster just like Elvis named "Cogburn". We named him before the True Grit remake.
Everyone said that roosters are mean, but he isn't. I've even held him a time or two. He really helps keep the hens in line and takes his job very seriously.
(found you through Farmama comments - great blog!)
What a beautiful blog, I am so glad to have stumbled accross it. Reading your 'about' page was eerie, could have been written about me! (except the giving-up-the-rat-run bit sadly!) I spent a week on a croft in Lewis last year Woofing, it was just beautiful and I can understand why you have chosen that life. I look forward to hearing more about your adventures. Bonnnie
