Weekend reflections - knitting reflections

I have been meaning to join in Weekend Reflections for a while now, so when I saw how this shot turned out, I could resist no longer. On a trip to visit family on the mainland, I had to call in to my favourite shop in Edinburgh - K1 knitting boutique just off the Grassmarket. Oh yes - I spent far too much, but you can never have enough yarn.
Join in and see reflections around the world at Newtown Daily Photo.

  2. Morning Jacqui, you're up early too! I was wakened at 6.30 by sounds of daughter in the shower - last Higher on Tuesday and she's working hard.
Great reflection - have to admit I haven't yet got over my knitting phobia!

  3. Thanks jeanette.

Linda - dawn breaks very early here :) good for your daughter - nearly there.Kenneth had some going into June as I recall. I had a knitting phobia for years - being left handed in the 60s and 70s was still seen as a bit of a handicap. Now, I love it, even though I am very slow. You tube is a great help. xx

  4. A wonderful refection photo.
A local yarn shop near me is having a closing down sale!! I have rather a large stash now as everything is £1.50 a ball (apart from alpaca!).
    Great stuff. x

Great photograph! And I am really jealous about your trip to K1, where I have never managed to drag my family - yet! Perhaps it's just as well.
