Beautiful pictures. My mum tells me about those sand dunes, I hope so much that one day we can too discover them for ourselves. It looks like the weather there is gorgeous too, long may it last. Have a lovely Sunday!
Hi Miranda - thanks for that lovely comment. JTS - thank you too - I love taking beach photographs. Liz - your children would love these dunes - you must come. Becks - how good would that be - and what an exciting and wonderful time to be here right now. xx
Hello Honey, your photos are amazing, and funnily enough the beach wasn't too crowded that day lol. There is an endearing vintage feel to it all, was mama in a polka-dot bathing suit per chance ;) V xxx
Thanks Pippa - the water is beautifully clear. V - darling, of course she did, and White cotton gloves too! Christine - the weather has been wonderful and a few weeks to go before the arrival of the midge. x
We've just been planning a trip to the west this summer - thought about making the crossing to Lewis and Harris, but time was against us. Still, seeing your beaches, I'm sorely tempted.
Oj thank you everyone. HF - I don't use any editing. This was just a bit of playing around with the hipstamatic app on my iphone. I love it. Linda - do come over. It's only an hour and a half from Skye. xx
From the Barefoot Gardener, Just received your comment. Thanks for connecting. I envy you your seaside frolics and especially your Beltaine sunrise view through standing stones. Wonderful. Blessings on all your gardening efforts. Would like to know what it was you made from what looked like nettles in a basket.
Hi Sandra - great to hear from you. We barefooted ones must stand together :). Thanks for the question. It was nettle soup - I have posted the recipe in the comments section on that post. xx
Time off to play and explore...Sounds heavenly! Love all the photos! (Sorry for the "lack" in this comment-chalk it up to hormonal mental dysfunction-aghk!)
