Fencing is going up.
Gates are being secured.
And a special little house is being cleaned and made ready.
Of course I did want to add some lovely flowery curtains, but I am not allowed to ~ sigh. Do check back over the weekend and see who is coming to live here.

ReplyDeleteThe mind boggles, lol. x
ReplyDelete(Aarggh - blogger is messing with me today!)
ReplyDeleteYou really are keeping us in suspense aren't you!
Will watch with interest as the barefoot croft expands ;-) (still guessing it's something that grunts ;-) oink oink!)
How exciting. I guess pigs also
ReplyDeleteI can guess lol!! Have fun piggie watching :) xx
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog, beautiful photos! I am guessing pigs too, but small ones (or very large guinea pigs), or geese?
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! A new addition, I cannot wait to see who/what it is :)
ReplyDeleteVery intriguing, Jacqui. Can't wait to see it's new inhabitant...
ReplyDeleteLove the blog! I'm guessing sheep; maybe because we raise sheep and cattle I think everyone should have them too :).
ReplyDeleteMy money is on piggies!!! Very much looking forward to seeing more photos. Our Sunday ritual is to all sit and watch Countryfile and recently on Adam's Farm there have been lots of baby pigs running around. Minnie just sits and giggles at this part of the programme!!
ReplyDeleteI am sitting here in a vest top, looking at your photos of coats and gloves and hoping that it's not too cold up where you are. It's been hotter here today than in July and I'm making the most of it before the forecasted cold snap next month!! xxxxxxx
i'm with everyone else! looks like Piggies to me!! xx
ReplyDeleteWell - most of you are right - but I did tell you last week that they were coming soon. 3 little pigs arriving on Saturday, i hope. The wee house will do them for a short while, but we will be building a bigger shelter for them later. There is another suprise, but it has been delayed.
ReplyDeleteCoats and gloves - yes - we seem to have escaped the heatwave so far, although i believe it will arrive tomorrow. The gloves were more for the fencing wire, and it was a bit drizzly, and also John does believe strongly in hats :)
Oh Mark will be jealous that you are getting pigs. He would so like some.
ReplyDeleteohhh how super exciting! i guess it will be mini pigs :)
